My story Come Tomorrow may be read at Anna Tambour's site.

That's all my finished stories out, now. Maybe it is time to write new ones.

  1. I loved 'speed of ignorance'! Also the Chandamama-y quality to the interlude, which signifies for us an escape better than anything else, no?

  2. I didn't realise it, but another friend also pointed out that Chandamama-like quality, and I thought that was a fortuitous resonance. All the ghost stories in the story are actual Bangalore ghost stories, told to me by friends and acquaintances. One, however, may also be found in a collection of Oriental ghost stories by Lafcadio Hearn.

  3. I quite liked it, but didn't find it as good as the other three.
I didn't think of it that way, but Chandamama-y is a great characterisation of the whole meeting with the come tomorrow ghost.
Maybe that's why I didn't like it so much, because I felt that the Chandamama-iness didn't transmit well to the rest of it. Not that I think it was intended to, but more like it sort of did even though it wasn't intended. Or something similar.

Oh, and I really cringed at 'speed of ignorance.'
